TriophusDiadophis Ptiloris

The Triophus (Diadophis Ptiloris), is a very large bird-like creature that is living high in the mountains of Shengdao. Their two wing pairs are making them excellent fliers, being able to reach speeds higher than any other flying animal. They can maneuver easily around objects and hunt mostly using their eyes, being able to spot prey from hundreds of meters away. Their large feathers are sharp and can cut skin easily if the rider is not careful around them. Each wing has claws which the animal uses to hang and rest on mountain sides.

The Triophus is used for travel mostly. They can quickly bring Shiji-Long to the other side of the continent without much effort, yet they can carry only small weights, due to their long and slender bodies. Some Shijis started breeding these animals for speed, since they participate in races with them.

The Triophus comes in all colors of the rainbow, but all host rings of white around their neck.
