I am a new user, how do I link my twitter/deviantart/tumblr account?

1. Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on settings.
3. You will be prompted to add your account; your three options will be listed below the instructional text. Click the website you would like to add.
4. Log in to the appropriate website or click authorize, accept, etc in the pop-up that appears.

Where can I check the items I have in my inventory?

1. Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Profile.
3. On the right hand site you will see all of your items listed. Hovering over them will show their name.

Note: For a more detailed view you can click on Inventory in the site's main menu or on the left-hand menu of your profile. On mobile the profile menu will appear as the second menu bar on the screen.

Can I gift other people items?

You can gift other people items as long as they are not account-bound!

1. Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Inventory.
3. From the inventory, click on the item you would like to give away.
4. If you have multiple copies of an item, you will see them all listed in the pop-up that appears. If not, you will only see one box. Check the box/es as needed for the items you would like to give away.
5. Click Transfer Item, then select the user you'd like to transfer the item to.
6. When you are ready, click the Transfer button. Clicking the transfer button will IMMEDIATELY transfer the item, so make sure you have the right selections before you click it!

Where can I view my characters?

1. Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Profile.
3. In the middle-left portion of your profile, you will see all of your characters listed. If you have more than 6, click "View All..." to open a list of all your characters.

Note: For a more detailed view you can click on My Characters in the site's main menu or on User->Characters left-hand menu of your profile. On mobile the profile menu will appear as the second menu bar on the screen.

How can I view how much Bi (coins) I have?

1. Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Profile.
3. On the top-right side of your profile you will see your Bi listed.

Alternatively you can click on Bank in the main-site menu or on the dashboard you see when you log in.

Can I send Bi (coins) to other people?

Yes, you can send Bi to other members on the site as long as they have an account. You will need to do so using a trade.

1. Click on "activity" on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Bank.
3. From your bank you can pick a recipient and quantity to transfer at the bottom of the screen. When ready, click Transfer. This will immediately transfer the currency, so make sure everything is correct before you click it!

How do I change my avatar (profile picture)?

1. Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Settings.
3. Here you will find the avatar upload at the top of the screen. Choose your file, then click Submit to change the image.

Why do I receive an error when I upload a GIF as my avatar (profile picture)?

This is an issue with the platform the website is hosted on that cannot be fixed by our development team. The good news is that you can ignore this error and go back to using the site - your avatar will still upload normally.

Why isn't my avatar showing up after uploading?

Your browser may automatically cache your old avatar. To fix this, try clearing your cache!

How can I change my preferred pronouns?

1. Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Settings.
3. Here you will find the pronouns box beneath the avatar settings. Enter your desired pronouncs and click Edit.

How do I add social media to my profile? What social media can I add?

Currently you can add Toyhou.se, Twitch, Instagram, Carrd, DeviantArt, and FurAffinity links to your profile. They will appear on the top right side of the profile beneath your username information.

How can I add a social media site that isn't listed to my profile?

If you would like to see more social media options listed, please contact a staff member and ask them about it. The staff will discuss your request and let you know if the social media page will be added!

How do I add text to my profile?

How do I change my email address?

1. Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Settings.
3. Scroll down towards the bottom of the page to the "Email Address" field. Change your email address as needed, then click edit.

Note: You must re-verify your email address if you change it.

How do I change my password?

1. Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Settings.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the Change Password section.
4. Write in your old (current) password, then enter your new (desired) password in both new password fields and click edit.

How do I submit a prompt (entry) for an ongoing event, badge, or quest?

There are many ways to do this, please see below for the various ways to submit.

Accessing the Submit Prompt screen

1. Click on Submit on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Submit Prompt.

3. Here you will see all of your existing prompt submissions. To add a new prompt submission, click the "New Submission" button.

» If you are not on a specific prompt submission page, click can type the name of the prompt you are looking for directly into the Prompt selection box (at the top of the screen) to make searching for the correct prompt easier.
» Use the Submission URL field to link the staff to your submission if it is an image or if it is writing/a story that is not included in the comments for the submission. Even if your submission is hosted on the site, please provide a link to the image on the site.
» Make sure you choose the appropriate characters, rewards, or amounts of bi necessary for your submission! Submissions without the necessary requirements included will be rejected.

How can I check on the status of my submitted prompts or view my previous submissions?

1. Click on Activity on the top right corner of the screen.
2. In the drop-down menu, click on Prompt Submissions.
3. Here you can find a list of all of your pending submissions. You can view approved or rejected submissions by clicking "approved" or "rejected" at the top of the list.

Click "Details" next to the submission status column to view your full submission.

How can I give feedback or bug reports?

2. In the drop-down menu, click on My Feedback.
3. Here you can find a list of all of your previous feedback. To add new feedback, press the "Submit Feedback" button.

How can I upload art or writing for my characters?

Accessing the Art/Writing Submission Form

1. First, access the character you would like to add art to by going to your username on the top-right corner of the screen, then selecting profile or "My characters."
2. Click the character you will be adding art to.
3. On the left menu (attached directly to the profile; this is the 'second menu' that appears on mobile at the top of the screen) click on "Add Gallery Submission" under "Manage."

» Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Note, however, that even though both the Image and Text fields are required, only one of the two is required to submit.
» Add a description if desired.
» No sexual images should be uploaded: this includes any form of genital insertion or erect penises. However, you may upload art dealing with sensitive topics or nudity. In these situations, you must provide an appropriate content warning (eg. Nudity) in the content warning box.
» Select all necessary characters included in the piece at the bottom of the screen. The character you are working with is automatically included and cannot be removed.
» On the right-hand side of the screen you will also see options for "Artists, Collaborators, and Other Participatants." Each box explains what it should be used for, so be sure to read each box to ensure you credit appropriately!

What is a character code and how do I find it?

Character codes are the unique text-and-number codes that represent each character.

1. Open the profile of the character you need the code for.
2. Look at the URL for the character: the last part of the link is the unique code. For example; "GIFT-1" or "COMM-299."

Where do I edit my character's profile?

1. Open the profile of the character you'd like to edit.
2. On the left-hand menu (this is the 'second' menu that appears at the top of the screen on mobile) click on Edit Profile under the Manage section.

How can I change my gift writing/art preferences?

1. Open the profile of the character you'd like to edit.
2. On the left-hand menu (this is the 'second' menu that appears at the top of the screen on mobile) click on Edit Profile under the Manage section.
3. At the bottom of the screen, adjust "Allow Gift Art," or "Allow Gift Writing."

Can I list my character for trade?

How do I add character relationships or link my character to other characters?

1. Open the profile of the character you'd like to set up a link for.
2. On the left-hand menu (this is the 'second' menu that appears at the top of the screen on mobile) click on Relationships under the Character section.
3. Click on the Request Links button.
4. Click on the Add Character button.
5. Enter the character code of the character you want your own character to be linked to. (See "What is a character Code and how do I find it?" if you need help with this part)
6. Once the character has been selected, you can add the relationship type (eg. Parent, lover, friend, soul mate, crush, etc.) and describe the link further.

Note: Family relationships and soul-mates are special types of relationships that will show up in the "info" tab of your character's profile!
