Raining Jungle

The Tropical Islands; an area within Shengdao that is filled with many different islands of all shapes and sizes, and within them lay tropical, lushious fauna and flora. They thrive under the hot rays of the sun and the fauna is open to explore the many islands the area holds. The days start with a cool and gentle breeze, as the heat begins to rise while the sun crosses the horizon with the passing sun. Afternoons are the hottest, where the rays of the sun shine brightly down onto the islands and create small waves of heat that cross from island to island. And as the sun begins to set, a cooler breeze from the northern parts of Shengdao comes down to bring down the massive heat from the day. Nights are cool and gentle, with the fauna asleep and flying foxes coming out to prey on fruit trees for a feast!

Some examples of fauna that live within the Tropical Island area are: betta fish, lemurs, flying foxes, winged wolves, and many more. Each species tends to live in a group, hunting for their food together and following the leader to ensure a safe and good life within the islands. There have been no known cases of the fauna going after each other in harmful ways; rather they've learned to live peacefully together. 

Within the Tropical Island area can be found the larger island of them all, filled with many trees and flora under some rainy clouds. It is known to be the Raining Jungle. The area takes over a large portion of the Tropical Islands, with sandy beaches along the western, southern and eastern sides of the island. Inside of said jungle, many different kinds of trees can be found sitting at every spot imaginable; bamboo trees, palm trees, rainbow eucalyptus (distinguishingly known for their multicolored bark), and even several fruit trees that fauna search for to have a delicious meal or snack along their journeys. Mango trees, papaya trees, star fruit trees and even the coconut trees lie around the Raining Jungle. Several vines cross from tree to tree, creating an atmosphere that indicates the environment from this area is 100% natural. 

Many other tropical plants can be found within the Raining Jungle, such as: the Bird of Paradise, ficus, croton, aloe vera, philodenron hederaceum, monstera deliciosa, and many more. They thrive under the rays of the sun, but always enjoy a few droplets of rain to get a nice gulp of water to keep hydrated!

Strangely enough, one particular Shiji couple and their familiars live within the Raining Jungle. The female in question had long lived within the area, having built herself a nice and large enough treehouse nestled between several trees with perfect angles and space for the wooden home. Her familiar, a brown lion, resides on the ground and keeps guard of the area if need be, though he naps for most of the day under the heat of the sun. 

This particular Shiji uses the natural elements from the Raining Jungle to create lots of lovely handmade jewelry, ranging from vines, to tree barks, to bamboo, to fallen leaves and many more.
