Blood Forest

There is a spot within Autumn Valley that is rather hidden from view. The locals purposefully avoid bringing any strangers here. The forest is adorned in a vibrant crimson red. Not only are the trees, mostly weeping willows, of that color, but even the other vegetation exhibits this deep, eerie hue.

Magic permeates these parts of the forest, creating a thick atmosphere. It manifests itself through red vines which crawl along everything in sight. Locals recount a legend of a dying elder who sought solace here after the war, their wounds bleeding and soaking the surroundings, resulting in its colour. Out of respect and perhaps superstition, they began collecting magical artifacts and constructing shrines to ward off any potential malevolent entities seeking to harness the magic.
