Dark magic is conjured by its user's hatred and soul. It can be very diverse, from cursing someone, raising the dead, extracting life essence, over to a literal ball of dark magic that damages the foe. Dark magic comes with a risk though. Since it comes directly from the user, a too strong spell, or too long usage, could also harm themselves.

Dark magic is obtainable via a questline only.

Passive dark magic materializes as a dark aura or smoke around the magic user. This aura is causing malaise and discomfort for non corrupted beings.

Shadow magic is obtainable via a questline only.

The venom/poison trait it a special trait available to any shiji. Like many insects, fish, reptiles, and plants, this trait can manifest in many ways - through saliva, injected by teeth or fangs, secreted from skin, from spines (aquatic subspecies), and also plants (natural subspecies). What the toxin does can be open to interpretation!
