Verena was the smaller of two eggs, laid by their mother. When it came close to hatching time, Kaida panicked due to the smaller egg having next to no movement, sounds or any sign of life. With her worry, she took the egg to the Elder Qing, the one who healed Kaida of her own ailment. With the blessing of the Elder, a miracle happened. And while Verena was much smaller and more petite than her egg-mate, she was born with different traits and a touch of magic. She might be small in stature, but she's feisty by nature.
