Yoru

Yoru is a much more complex soul and quite difficult to grasp or approach because he is very uncomfortable and anxious in social situations... You can say socially akward... He is a very discreet, shy, taciturn shiji, who lacks self-confidence and hates attracting attention. Unfortunately for him, not only does he glow in the dark, but the star magic he was endowed with (due to his mother's completely far-fetched idea of decorating his nest with a magic-infused gem) makes him sparkle whenever he feels strong emotions, which he cannot control...

It took him a long time to accept his appearance, and he was neither an easy child nor an adolescent because he would retreat into silence and struggled to express his feelings. More than once, he ended up being hurtful and bitter when he felt cornered or overwhelmed by his emotions. He even blamed his two biological parents when his appearance put him in situations he couldn't handle. However, he always felt very guilty afterwards and would apologize, encouraged by his sister, the only one who could calm him and understand him perfectly.

He loves peace, quiet and high places, so he often ended up on the roof of their house, gazing at the stars and the infinitely silent vastness of the universe. Ironically, he developed a real passion for observing the sky and celestial bodies, burning to uncover all their secrets. Understanding how the universe works truly excites him, and talking about it reveals a passionately unexpected side of his personality. It was only natural that he pursued a career as an astronomer. In his dreams, he travels riding comets and caressing the shimmering dust rings of giants, sailing on stellar currents in the vastness of the eternal and peaceful night that is space.

He needs guidance to master his star element and learn how to use it. Even if born with this ability he didn't use it that much because he's scared to do it wrong... That’s why he decided to leave his family and travel to the temple nestled in the Frost Peaks  known as Moonglade Respite, dedicated to the Moon, study of celestial bodies and star magic, to request to be taken in as a student.
