This isn’t a story about rainbows and sunshine. It’s about heartache, darkness and redemption.

Arwynne was born to two loving Shiji-Long. It was a surprise to see her take after her father’s magical trait; star magic. They were in awe as she glistened and shined like the stars in the sky. It wasn't an easy task to teach a youngling how to control their magic, but her father did his best, typically giving his only daughter the majority of his attention. And in time, it began to make her mother jealous. She managed to hide it well when her mate was around, but when he wasn't was another story.

As Arwynne grew into her magic, her father would begin to teach her more in depth about their magic and the secrets it held. He taught her how to wield her stars like weapons, almost dagger like, piercing through trunks of trees, even embedding them into stone. She was strong. However, her favorite part of her Magic was being able to project the galaxies and have her father tell her the history and stories of the stars.

Arwynne's mother became spiteful and bitter of their blossoming relationship and decided to do something about it. When her Mate decided to take a week trip to Tianshu for an academic study, as he was a scholar, it was the best time to enact her plan. She sold her daughter to an underground group looking for magical users for nefarious purposes. She drugged her daughter with a sleeping drought and let her be whisked away in the middle of the night.

The buyer turned out to be a shady male who wanted to breed Arwynne for her Magic. However somewhere in between, Arwynne was actually rescued by a younger male named Mateo. He became her world. He saved her and brought her into the fold of his ‘large family’, which would later turn out to be a rebellion against the Elders.

She fancied herself in love with Mateo, she worshiped the ground he stood on because he took care of her, clothed her, fed her, taught her how to wield her magic with better control even though he didn’t have magic himself. The only thing he had ever asked her to do was defend him and be a lookout when he and his family had important errands to run. Little did she know that would change. She became more, did some stealing there, some stabbing here. The underground movement moved all over Shengdao, careful to leave members in each village, town, and city they lived in. They did this for 3 life cycles.

Eventually, in her current Life-Cycle, she and Mateo had a hatching together. It was the happiest day of her life to hold her son in her arms, loving how the little one had her ombre blonde hair, and matching eyes. He didn’t seem to have the twinkle that Arwynne had on her flesh due to her magic. He didn’t receive that trait from her and she couldn’t care less. But Mateo did. He wanted a strong magical son that he could manipulate when he got older. Their son was found dead in his nest not a week after he had hatched. Arwynne was told his heart was weak, and he died in his sleep. She was lost in her greif. She refused to go out on missions, refused to eat and sleep. It wasn’t until one night she had been woken in the middle of the night to Mateo in a drunken rage that she was useless to him if she wouldn’t use her magic for his work, he beat her. And in that rage he let it slip that the death of their son wasn’t an accident, which woke Arwynne from whatever spell he had on her.

One fateful night, months later, Arwynne couldn’t go through a mission, killing a family. The loss of her son took too much of an impact on her, and couldn’t bring herself to do it. She had actually begun to defy Mateo, returning stolen objects anonymously, making sure to never get caught. But that night everything changed for her forever. (However, that story will be done here shortly.)

The only thing left to tell you is that Arwynne changes her name to Aeria, and lives in the Delta Lifestream to start over somewhere new.
