Anhé is a young shiji who is extremely calm and quiet, communicating very little with words. But she makes up for what she lacks in speech through gestures and actions. Her language is clearly tactile, and in matters of affection, she is very loving. She is also highly observant and quick-witted, understanding things quickly without needing anything explained. This quality can be disorienting at first, as it may seem that she isn’t listening or paying attention to the conversation, when in fact it’s quite the opposite. She is also very skilled at imitating animals, with whom she shares a special bond. In fact, currently, most of her friends are animals. One could describe her as having a somewhat “wild” soul, but again, one just needs to get to know her better to realize that, despite her quiet nature, Anhé is far from shy. Her approach to strangers is always cautious and slow because she first needs to observe and familiarize herself with people as much as with her surroundings before she can behave more naturally. Once her trust is earned, she becomes much easier to approach, like a beautiful animal or a delicate wildflower.
Anhé was born and raised in the lush Sanctuary created by her mother, nestled in a green haven located north of the Grand Portal. She has never left it and isn’t particularly interested in the “outside world.” At least, not for now. This is likely because she is still young, being in her first cycle, but also and especially because she is deeply attached to her family, with whom she maintains very strong bonds. Unlike other inhabitants of the Sanctuary, who are often just passing through, she does not really form friendships with them. Goodbyes are painful—she knows this all too well, even if her mother constantly reminds her that it is for the best. Not having shiji friends doesn’t bother her much, however, since she has her parents, her siblings, and her animal friends.
She has some knowledge of herbalism, passed down by her mother and her paheart (father of heart) Fern, but she excels even more in everything related to animal knowledge and animal care.
