Wonderous Wishing Well
The wishing well is a random, raffle-based activity. Once a month every player can throw in coins to wish for a prize! Every wish will win something, with rewards ranging from coins to familiar items or aesthetic items. The most valued prize is the Elder's Tear. Ready to try your luck?
To play, choose a character, the number of coins you'd like to toss into the well, and provide a short story (2-5 sentences) describing how your character places their coins into the well.

A knowing smile, a flick of her wrist and the strum of delicate fingers at the well's edge. Would this be the month? Was it finally time? Only time would tell, but she silently hoped the wonders of the well would hear her silent prayer.

Under the cover of night, Nyra stole to the well in slow, measured steps. Once before the unassuming gray stone she peered into the waters below.
“It’s been a while…” she murmured with a soft sigh and a tiny smile. She gave a little pat to the worn edges that many a hand has grasped in their own venture to wishing for ‘something’. Leaning closer, the stormy shiji unfolded a small hand and several golden coins tumbled free into the water.
‘I can only wish…for peace.’

Chiba did his usual, roly-poly lull to the well plopping himself on his rump as he glanced into the depths. "One for me," he pushed into the well, "One for luck," he continued, "One for friend," cause he would definitely find one. Then he thought about it and dumped two more coins after. "Who would say no to more friends?" He said twitching his nose as he watched with those heart eyes of his wondering what magic might show up this time.

Tsukiko felt herself being pulled over towards the well, it had been a while since she had visited. A sense of luck was in the air, she searched around her pocket for a single bi. Once she found it, the shiji tossed it into the waters with a splash. It went all the way down, after a moment she went on with her day.

Everything in her body told her it was a mistake to toss good money away, but her mate insisted that she needed more whimsy in her life. Whimsy..... Miri rolled her eyes, but dropped a single coin into the water anyway.

As was her custom, Nango came to uphold the tradition she had created for herself to bring good fortune to the orphanage where she had taken up her position shortly after Vashaa's tragic disappearance. Once a month, she would come to toss a few coins into the magical well and make the very same wish, firmly convinced that this small act would bring happier days to their little adorable noodle monsters full of life.
Once her task was complete, she hurried back to the orphanage, already thinking about the games she would suggest to the little ones that afternoon ! The more energy they burned off, the less energy they'd have left to get into mischief ! That was her motto !

A beautiful day for Vareesa to finally check out this mysterious and wonderous wishing well. She pulls her coin pouch out and takes a coin. Since she started to have feelings for her consort she figured why not. She gazes into the well and sees some coins glittering at the bottom and nothing out of the ordinary. Pausing she wonders if this is a foolish flight of fancy. Shaking her head and chuckling to herself she tosses in the coin and fervently hopes for good news to come her way. Seeing her consort in the distance she hurries back to his side. Mayhap this well really does work!
