Wonderous Wishing Well
The wishing well is a random, raffle-based activity. Once a month every player can throw in coins to wish for a prize! Every wish will win something, with rewards ranging from coins to familiar items or aesthetic items. The most valued prize is the Elder's Tear. Ready to try your luck?
To play, choose a character, the number of coins you'd like to toss into the well, and provide a short story (2-5 sentences) describing how your character places their coins into the well.

Sia has never visited the well before, but she had heard the stories. Sia looks at the shiny coin in her hand, closes her eyes and makes her wish. Sia holds her hand over the well and drops the coin in. She opens her eyes, bows to the well and walks away smiling.

Visted the Well once again and truly didn't have faith that the well would be kind. He bounced the coins in the palm of his hand before just throwing the coins down to the water with force. Grumbling something unkind to the Well!

It had been a while since Hanami's last visit to the Wishing Well. The familiar pathway guided her along the stone cobbles, down towards the Well that sat alone in the middle of the open area. With a small smile to herself, she stepped up, dropping a single bi into its waters, closing her eyes and making a silent wish. She turned to leave, safe in the knowledge that today was blessed.

The holiday season had left Sihu busy going back and forth from the market because there had been a conspicuous amount of cookies disappearing from the jar and even full pans before there had been a chance to decorate. Not that she minded, it was the joy of sharing with her family that made it all worthwhile. She paused at the well still debating which kind of cookie she was going to make this time before tossing some bi into the well one for each of her cookie thieves she suspected. Maybe the well would have some ideas?

From within his warm nest in his father's overlapping tail, Xue Qiang blinked tired eyes and shivered lightly. It was warmer in Tianshu than their mountain home would be, which was why his parents had moved here for the season, but for such a small pup it was still quite too cold. His sire leaned down from above, large hands cradling the pup to his chest while passing him a single Bi. Curiosity overtook him, tiny paw extended to toe lightly as the coin was settled on the well edge. He glanced between his father and the shiny Bi, pushing it forward under his gentle guidance. He wasn't exactly sure what he was supposed to be wishing for, but his father seemed pleased to watch him try.

It always seemed like ages between times where Evan paid a visit to the well. The prance in her step easily carried her petite form to the edge of the mystical, tranquil clearing. No matter the season, the well always seemed to stay the same. Forever casting lovely pastel petals across the winds. She paused next to the cobblestone just long enough to hold her breath in a silent prayer before casting a handful of Bi into the Azure abyss below.

Noel walked up to the well, his trusted companions by his side. Gold huffed the air as Noel pulled out the 5 coins and dropped them in. Silver whined and Birch scraped the ground below their hooves. Noel had adorned their large antlers with Christmas ornaments and garlands. He smiled as the well began to bubble revealing the gift within.

A wrist flick, a grin and a twist saw the vibrant Shiji bounding back down the cobbled pathway, a soft hum lingering upon her lips as the coin landed into the water of the well behind her with a soft plip. Perhaps the well would see fit to bless her, or perhaps it would jettison a piece of soggy bread after her. Whatever the end result, she would take it with a grin and a chuckle. Blessings indeed.

Jixsing couldn't remember the last time he visited the well. It was something that Mei and Cybele got into heated arguments over. Mei insisted that the well was blessed while Cybele said she was full of it. Jixsing valued Cybele's opinion nearly as much as he valued trash in the garbage can. Still, he wasn't entirely sure whether the well was blessed or not. Mei's dumpling restaurant and his monster grooming shop were both doing well. Jixsing figured that three bi wouldn't hurt either of him. He made his wish silently and tossed the coins into the water.

Glint shook his head and wondered what he was doing travelling to this so called magical well. His friend Nanuq had told him how he travelled each month to the well, and made a wish. Nanuq and Glint were great friends, but sometimes he wondered if all that time in the cold had made his friend Nanuq a bit loopy. Magical wells. Pfffft. Not that he didn't believe in magic, but he wondered if this was just a scam by some unscrupulous Shiji... all that Bi tossed into the well would really add up. Still, Glint was up to the trek and was going to prove Nanuq wrong; a bet rested on the outcome. Arriving at the well, Glint pulled some coins out of his backpack, and tossed them into the well making a silent wish. He smiled, thinking this was going to be an easy best to win.
