Wonderous Wishing Well
The wishing well is a random, raffle-based activity. Once a month every player can throw in coins to wish for a prize! Every wish will win something, with rewards ranging from coins to familiar items or aesthetic items. The most valued prize is the Elder's Tear. Ready to try your luck?
To play, choose a character, the number of coins you'd like to toss into the well, and provide a short story (2-5 sentences) describing how your character places their coins into the well.

Today was a good day, there was plunder that had been acquired and trinkets made from it. Having sold them all at market for a fine price, Hook felt like she was rolling in the good fortune, so much so that she had decided that she would gamble on making a wish. Something she never really did before as she had no desire, but when the Elders are smiling down on you, why not partake. So as she made her way up to the well, she had in her webbed hand 3Bi for just the occasion. Once at the grand stone oobliette, she reached her hand out and then dropped the three coins down into the inky depts.

"Hello, Well! I hop you're doing WELL today!" Whisk greeted the well in a sing songy voice, then giggling at her own pun "Of course, what else would you be, other than a well?" She laughed again. "I brought you another cupcake, aaaaaaand...!!" She'd pull out a coin, sticking it on the treat as a topper. "...A special topper with that too!" She laughed, grinning as she tossed it into the well. "I hope you enjoy, and the rest of your day is... well.. well!!"

Shibusa was out and about picking a new dress from the market place. Found herself a billowing blue one made of light gossamer silks. On her return trip she was riding high upon her fifteen foot tall golem that had been skillfully chiseled out of ivory marble. Sat like a princess nestled in the crook of his arm. There was no better way to travel then to travel in style. They entered into a forest clearing and there in the middle sat a mysterious well that seemed to draw her towards it. Controlling the golem with her mind she had the arm gently place her down at the base of the well. Humming to herself in thought she took 5 coins and with a shrug cast them into the depths. Hearing a satisfying flash. The golem was willed to pick her back up and then she was off on her way once more last seen going off towards the direction of the tropical islands.

Dakari didn’t often find herself at the wishing well, especially during this part of the day. Normally she would be working or doing some other far more productive thing than sitting by herself looking at water. She sighed and dug around for a few shiny bi that she never put to use. Might as well use them here is what she thought as she threw the coins into the magically blue water. Who knows? Maybe today she’ll be lucky.

Raj pawed into the square, the stone cool and rough on his bare feet, he watched as the last person to make a wish departed in another direction, took a quick look around, and approached, he knew his wishes were not always going to be granted but he wanted to try anyways-- stepping up he prayed on the coin before dropping it into the well, a satisfying plonk sound as it reached the bottom. Raj nodded, satisfied and quietly left.

Esmeralda had become tired. She needed something to brighten the week or even month. While she managed to catch a new familiar all it did was snooze all day and night with little care to anything. The only item to stir it awake was a sweet treat. This treat could only be bought at the market which happened to be a bit of ways away. To appease the new addition she set out to go stock up and even get her other baby some jerky. It was the same path different day. She knew it all without even looking. However, stopping in her tracks she looked off at the entrance trail to the well in deep thought. Nothing to lose she dipped down for a quick visit. Upon arrival she muttered a small wish with a thanks and hoped for the best. Then continued the journey for treats thinking maybe what comes of it will make her day.

Nanuq made the monthly trek to the well, with all his familiars in tow. He enjoyed the hike through the wilderness to the well, and especially this time of year as everything seemed to be in full bloom. When he arrived at the well, he wasted no time and tossed his coins into the well... whispering his wish. He was hopeful this month!

Having the permission from her mother to visit the well today Enid was extremely excited. She could not wait to see the beauty of the well and feel the magic in the nature that surrounded it. Upon spotting the beautiful pink tree and grass around the well in the distance, little Enid sprinted over as fast as she could. Taken back by how the sunlight captured the scene as if it were in a fairytale story, she smiled and did a little jumpy jump in happiness. "Mama told me you were a beautiful sight to see, thank you for trusting me to come today mama." Enid said joyfully as she climbed up to the rim of the well with a tiny bit of a struggle but was able to now see the water be low. Carefully taking the coin her mama gave her out she tossed it into the well and made her biggest wish for her first visit.

Another visit to Tianshu, and Theorin found himself waltzing up to the wishing well yet again. He almost felt excited for it this time, not that he would ever admit that to anyone. His handful of coins splashed into the well as he peered at its depths with a toothy and expectant grin.
