What does your Shiji do for a living?

All of his life, Rune has been blessed with the magic of the stars. He never quite understood how he, an orphan of all Shiji, could possibly have been given this gift. This curiosity has plagued him since he was young, and has continued to plague him as an adult. AS a result, Rune spends his time travelling all across Shengdao in search of this answer.

Rune is a scholar. He collects information on the magic of Shengdao, focusing almost exclusively on the magic he himself wields. He chases rumor after rumor when it comes to not only magical artefacts, but magical places as well. He is both a scholar and an adventurer, on what seems to be an endless quest. He has run himself ragged, experienced many sleepless nights and injuries, all over a question he hasn't quite found a way to ask. 

However, his recent adventures have begun to show Rune a side of Shengdao he never took the time to learn or explore. There is beauty in the world that he lives in, and all too often he finds himself lost in a book an unable to enjoy it. While he still enjoys his research, and pours his heart and soul into finding the answer that's eluded him most of his life, he's also begun to take time to simply enjoy Shengdao, and the magic that is everywhere and anywhere all at once.
