The story of the bloody pen

Do you know the story about the pen that writes in blood? There once was a writer whose stories were so gory and descriptive that detectives had to investigate. Things started small, a familiar went missing. It was just one, but one became two and two became three, the whole town was worried. People stopped walking their familiars or letting them out alone. That's when the writer was young,  short stories crumpled into balls and thrown out. Then a person went missing, an investigation started, but they didn't find anything, no suspects, and there wasn't a body or a drop of blood. After the book was published, the locals couldn't help but suspect the author of the terrible disappearances. When they knocked on the author's door to ask some questions, the door was already opened. They peered in and saw pages and pages of handwritten notes all in dark crimson, the way it cracked and pooled told them it wasn't ink. A terrible stench filled the air, the detectives moved in farther and found a terrible sight. The author lay motionless on his chair. His own pen brought down with great force punctured his heart. A note in front of him, 'You will find my secrets.’ in that house they found all of the missing familiars and that missing shiji. At least the families will get to bury their loved ones. But by the time the crew came to pick up the bodies, the weapon was gone and the corpse had a hideous grin. If you ever find a pen on your desk and you can't remember where it came from, whatever you do, do not use it.
