The tale of the Heinous Horn Hacker

This is the tale of the heinous horn hacker… There once was a shiji born with horrific horns, they were pointy and twisted in unnatural ways. This shiji hated their horns, everyone made fun of them. They pointed and laughed, in mocking voices, 'You must be hollow or something, that's not normal.’ Jealousy and anger brought this shiji to a terrible state, they grabbed an axe and used it on their own horns. Chopping and hacking away, it was hard it hurt so bad, but they did it, leaving jagged edges and bloody stumps. They thought that was it, no one could make fun of their horns anymore. It just changed how they were mocking. Comparing the hack job as a bad haircut, shunning them as even more of a freak. That shiji snapped, surely no one could make fun of them if everyone looked the same as them. They snuck into those shiji's homes while they were sleeping. Creeping, the familiar axe in their hands still crusted with their own blood, and they start their rampage. Screams in the night, going from home to home, keeping the hacked-off horns as trophies. It's said that they used those horns to make a bloody crown that they wear atop their head. I've heard that bullies can see them during cold nights when they close their eyes for sleep, that's how you know they are close and ready to take another trophy.
